Dr. Paula Schnurr is a co-Investigator on the Services and Treatment Research Study for the National Center for Disaster Mental Health Research. She received a PhD in Experimental Psychology from the Dartmouth College. She is Deputy Executive Director of the VA's National Center for PTSD, Research Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth Medical School.
Her interests include the treatment of PTSD, longitudinal study of reactions to traumatic stress, risk factors for PTSD, and the physical health consequences of traumatic exposure. She is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Traumatic Stress and the Clinician's Trauma Update--Online.
