Robert H. Pietrzak, PhD, MPH, is a Co-Investigator with the National Center for Disaster Mental Health Research. He received his PhD in Clinical Psychology with specialization in Clinical Neuropsychology, and MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Connecticut. He completed his postdoctoral training at the National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Pietrzak is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine; Research Psychologist in the Clinical Neurosciences Division of the Department of Veterans Affairs National Center for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; and Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Preventive Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
His research interests include the epidemiology of traumatic stress and resilience; association between psychopathology and cognitive function; and neuropsychological assessment methodology.
